Burger King will use AI to check if employees say ‘please’ and ‘thank you’

Burger King is introducing an OpenAI-powered voice chatbot called “Patty” that will be built into employees’ headsets. The system will coach staff, assist with meal preparation and evaluate customer interactions for friendliness, recognizing polite words such as “please” and “thank you.” The AI tool is part of the company’s BK Assistant platform aimed at improving service.
