Snapchat gives parents new insights into teens’ screen time and friends

Snap has upgraded its Family Center parental-control tool, now showing children’s daily screen-time averages and a detailed breakdown of usage by app segment, including Snap Map, as well as information about the contacts they communicate with. The enhancements are intended to give parents greater insight into teens’ activity on the platform and to address safety and screen-time concerns.
