Tidal has implemented a policy that prevents music created entirely by artificial intelligence from receiving royalty payments. The platform also removes AI-generated tracks that mimic the sound or style of existing artists, effectively blocking any such content from earning revenue. This move curtails monetization for wholly AI-produced songs and for impersonating works.
