Uber launches robotaxi support project to aid AV partners

Uber has launched a new division called Uber Autonomous Solutions to support third-party robotaxi, self-driving truck, and sidewalk delivery robot operators. The service bundle includes vehicle financing, fleet management tools, regulatory assistance, insurance, roadside assistance, and “AV mission control” software. It aims to accelerate the commercialisation of autonomous vehicle fleets.
