Anthropic has been blacklisted by the Trump administration and is now being directed to have banks use its AI. The company hired lobbying firm Ballard Partners after the Department of Defense flagged it as a supply-chain risk. Anthropic’s co-founder confirmed the firm briefed the administration on its Mythos platform.
