Anthropic says Claude may want to see your ID

Anthropic has updated its terms and privacy policy for Claude, adding requirements that flagged users provide biometric data and undergo age or identity verification. The changes mean the system may request users’ identification documents to confirm their identity before granting access. This policy applies specifically to users identified as needing additional verification.
