Google Maps will finally be usable in South Korea

South Korea has approved Google’s request to export detailed geographic data, overturning a longstanding policy that limited the service’s functionality. With that restriction lifted, Google Maps can now operate fully in the country, offering walking routes and real-time driving directions that were previously unavailable.
