ArXiv announced that any author whose paper contains “incontrovertible evidence” of AI-generated content will be barred from submitting to the repository for one year. The policy targets the careless use of large language models in scientific manuscripts, requiring that authors ensure the work is original and not wholly produced by artificial intelligence.
