Audible has introduced a new “Standard” streaming tier priced at roughly $9 a month in the United States, undercutting its existing “Premium” plans that cost $14.95. The lower-cost plan provides ad-free podcasts and continues to include an audiobook credit, positioning the service as a direct competitor to Spotify.
