Disney names Josh D'Amaro, head of its theme parks and consumer products division, as CEO, replacing Bob Iger; D'Amaro joined Disney in 1998 (Variety)

Disney announced that Josh D’Amaro, who joined the company in 1998 and most recently led its theme parks and consumer products division, will replace Bob Iger as chief executive officer. The transition is slated for March 18, 2026, and Dana Walden was also named president and chief creative officer.
