Jack Dorsey’s Block is eliminating more than 4,000 jobs, roughly 40% of its workforce, as it shifts to an “intelligence-native” model that relies on AI efficiencies. The layoffs will reduce the company’s headcount from over 10,000 to fewer than 6,000 employees.
