Nscale buys Anyscale as it seeks to own more of the AI compute stack

London-based Nscale is acquiring AI-software firm Anyscale for roughly $1.65 billion. The deal expands Nscale’s portfolio, adding Anyscale’s software that improves AI workload efficiency to its existing power and data-centre assets, and moves the company further up the AI compute stack.
