Qualcomm’s new chip is geared toward wearable AI gadgets

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite is a 3 nm system-on-chip built for wearable AI devices such as smartwatches, pendants, pins and display-free smart glasses. The chip includes a Hexagon neural-processing unit capable of running on-device AI models with up to two billion parameters, and it adds satellite messaging and 5G connectivity to supported wearables.
