Sony brings AI graphics upscaling to the regular PS5

Sony has added Quick Spectral Super Resolution (QSSR) to the standard PS5, an AI upscaling tier developed with AMD. The feature first appears in Marvel’s Wolverine and Ghost of Yōtei, delivering upscaled 1440p output while keeping performance loss minimal. QSSR runs slower than the Pro’s PSSR because the console lacks dedicated machine-learning hardware.
