Apple's smart home camera reportedly won't record video

Apple is developing a smart home security camera, codenamed J450, that provides text-based event descriptions rather than traditional video footage. This device functions as a companion to the J490 smart home display within a new, broader Apple home ecosystem that includes both first-party and third-party security products.
