44,000 object to Palantir’s NHS data platform, the Guardian reports

More than 44,000 people filed legal objections under Article 21 of the UK GDPR to halt the NHS’s Federated Data Platform, which uses Palantir software, from processing their health records. 38 Degrees coordinates the campaign, citing Palantir’s ties to the Israeli military and U.S. immigration enforcement. NHS England says it will respond under data-protection law, asserting it controls all data and that Palantir only processes data on NHS instructions.
