Acer’s new MacBook Air rival is nearly a pound lighter than Apple’s laptop

The Acer Swift Blade 14 weighs 1.76 lb (799 g) and is 0.51 in (12.95 mm) thin, about 1.7 mm thicker than the 13-inch MacBook Air but nearly a pound lighter. Its chassis uses carbon-fiber top lid and bottom plate to achieve the featherweight design, and it ships with Intel Wildcat Lake processors ranging from a five-core entry model upward.
