Adobe just handed Photoshop to someone who has never run it

Adobe appointed Anil Chakravarthy as president and chief executive effective 1 December, while founder Shantanu Narayen shifted to executive chair. Chakravarthy, who rose through Adobe’s Digital Experience and worldwide field operations and previously led Informatica’s enterprise data business, drove the Workfront and Semrush acquisitions. The board selected a leader without prior Photoshop experience.
