Against all odds, SpaceX finally tugs Starship into port after 24 days at sea

SpaceX’s latest Starship prototype survived a 24-day ocean voyage, splashing down intact in the Indian Ocean after traveling half the globe from its Texas launch site. Contrary to expectations that the vehicle would burn up after toppling, it remained upright, allowing onboard sensors, cameras, buoys and drones to collect heat-shield performance data.
