AgeLab research inspires an A I startup

Don Yansen, a former MIT AgeLab participant, founded Kiwi Health in October 2024 to address seniors’ difficulty with modern devices. The company’s voice-controlled wristband lets users set reminders, call, text, and share health data without screen navigation, while AI adapts to age-related voice changes and detects falls to alert caregivers.
