Amazon aims for delivery drones to reach 500 US neighborhoods by end of 2026

Amazon plans to expand its Prime Air drone delivery service sixfold, targeting nearly 500 U.S. neighborhoods by the end of 2026. The rollout will begin in Chicago, Cleveland, Atlanta, Syracuse, NY, and Boise, ID, each covering roughly 175 sq mi with delivery windows of 30–60 minutes. Prime Air already operates from warehouses in ten cities across seven states, including Phoenix, Tampa, Kansas City, Omaha, Baton Rouge, Detroit, Houston, San Antonio, Dallas and Waco.
