Amazon devices are the latest casualties of the memory shortage price hikes

Amazon increased prices on Echo, Fire TV, Kindle, and eero devices, with hikes of $5-$100 and up to 60% for certain models. The Echo Dot rose from $50 to $80, Echo Show 21 from $400 to $500, Fire TV Stick 4K Max from $60 to $85, 16 GB Kindle to $150, Kindle Paperwhite to $200, eero 7 3-pack to $400, and eero Pro 7 3-pack to $800. Amazon cites higher memory and storage component costs due to the chip shortage.
