Amazon Fire TV devices are getting a free Alexa Plus upgrade

Amazon is rolling out Alexa Plus to all U.S. Fire TV devices—including Fire TV Sticks, Fire TV Cubes, Amazon Ember smart TVs, and compatible Panasonic and Hisense models—at no cost. The upgrade adds a more conversational AI that can suggest movies based on mood, jump to specific scenes, and answer on-screen queries. Previously, Alexa Plus required a Prime or Alexa Plus subscription.
