Amazon introduces new Kindle Paperwhite, Colorsoft and entry-level models

Amazon launched new Kindle models, including a 6-inch entry-level version that is 6.8 mm thin, 140 g, and lasts six weeks on a charge, with 16 GB storage and a 30% faster book-opening speed. The updated Paperwhite offers a larger, higher-contrast screen, 12-week battery life, 16 GB storage, and a waterproof design, while the Colorsoft adds edge-to-edge color and improved clarity with 16 GB storage. All models are available in new colors such as Ube purple and Fig red, with aluminum-back variants offering 32 GB storage and additional features like auto-adjusting light and double-tap page turns.
