Amazon is bringing drone deliveries to the Chicago and Atlanta metro areas as part of a major expansion

Amazon will expand Prime Air drone deliveries to Chicago and Atlanta, adding to service already operating in ten U.S. metros covering 175 sq mi each. The rollout aims for nearly 500 towns by year-end, delivering packages up to five pounds in as little as 30 minutes. Prime members get free delivery on orders of $50 or more; non-Prime customers pay $3 or $5 for smaller or urgent shipments.
