Amazon makes its AI-powered Alexa+ free on Fire TV, no Prime required

Amazon is deploying the AI-enhanced Alexa+ to all U.S. compatible Fire TV devices at no cost, dropping the $19.99 monthly fee and the Prime-membership requirement. The update adds conversational search, AI-driven content recommendations, and smart-home controls, and automatically upgrades current-generation Fire TV Sticks, Fire TV Cube, Ember smart TVs, and supported Hisense and Panasonic models. Amazon says Alexa+ users now have nearly twice as many TV conversations as with the original Alexa, enabling queries such as “a top-rated thriller” or “a historical drama with a strong female lead.”
