Amazon raised its device prices by up to 60% overnight

Amazon raised prices on its Echo, Kindle, Fire TV, and eero devices on 21 August, with increases up to 60%—the Echo Dot jumped from $49.99 to $79.99 and the Fire TV Stick 4K Max from $60 to $85. The company blamed “significant increases in memory and storage component costs” and said promotions will run throughout the year, while Ring cameras, Echo Studio and some other products kept their prices unchanged.
