Amazon’s AI assistant can now spot fake emails from the company

Amazon’s Alexa Shopping can now verify whether an email, text, or call originates from Amazon by comparing the message to a database of all Amazon communications and analyzing content, formatting, and sender details. The assistant confirms authenticity only when it is “completely certain.” An example shows a user asking Alexa to confirm an OTP text received from Amazon.
