Amazon’s drones will soon deliver to nearly 500 US cities and towns

Amazon says Prime Air will serve nearly 500 U.S. cities and towns by year-end, expanding its footprint sixfold from the current 11 locations. The service will debut this month in Chicago, Illinois; Syracuse, New York; Cleveland, Ohio; Atlanta, Georgia; and Boise, Idaho, each covering roughly 175 square miles.
