Amazon’s Zoox expands its robotaxi service to Las Vegas airport

Zoox has added rides to and from Harry Reid International Airport to its Las Vegas robotaxi service, allowing passengers to hail trips beginning Thursday and to be dropped off at both terminals near baggage claim. The expansion follows a two-year federal exemption permitting up to 2,500 vehicles and marks the company’s first commercial airport operation, ahead of upcoming permits for Tesla, Uber, Waymo and others that could bring up to 8,000 robotaxis to Clark County.
