Among European Companies That Use a CDN, Nearly 9 in 10 Use Cloudflare

Among 44,143 European companies that use a CDN, 39,547 (89.6%) rely on Cloudflare, outpacing Amazon CloudFront (3,112), Fastly (1,299) and Akamai (396). Cloudflare’s share varies by country, from roughly 80% in Spain and Ireland to 95% in the Netherlands, with the UK hosting the largest absolute count of 15,846 CDN-using firms. Recent post-mortems detail three non-malicious global outages affecting Cloudflare’s network in November 2025, December 2025 and February 2026.
