Ando wants to take on Slack with a team messaging app that lets humans and agents work together
Ando launched a team-messaging platform that lets AI agents join channels, DMs, and live calls with their own identities and inboxes, enabling agents to read, respond, and trigger human notifications without intermediary steps. The app, positioned as a full replacement for Slack, was funded with $20 million from Accel, Index Ventures and Emergence. Early users reported that agents could merge duplicate conversations, provide context, and suggest decisions, demonstrating practical collaboration benefits.
