Android is getting its own weird dots to cure car sickness
Google is adding Motion Assist to Android 17, a feature that uses the phone’s accelerometer and gyroscope to display moving dots that counteract the visual-vestibular mismatch causing motion sickness in vehicles. The system is being rolled out gradually, initially to Pixel devices, and works similarly to Apple’s 2024 Motion Cues.
