AnkiDroid: Google Play no longer allowing Open Collective donation link

Google has rejected AnkiDroid updates because its donation link points to Open Collective, which holds a 501(c)(6) tax-exempt status, and Google’s policy permits only donations to validated 501(c)(3) charities. The app will lose its Play Store presence worldwide on 11 September unless the donation link is removed, prompting the developers to strip the link from version 2.24.X in protest.
