Anthropic to pay Akamai $11.6 billion over seven years in cloud deal

Anthropic committed $11.6 billion over seven years to Akamai’s cloud infrastructure, marking the largest deal in Akamai’s history. The agreement includes warrants allowing Anthropic to acquire up to 5% of Akamai’s stock based on spending milestones.
