Antioch raises $32m to test robots in simulation before they touch hardware

Antioch, a New York startup, raised a $32 million Series A led by Greylock, bringing total funding to $40.5 million. Its hybrid cloud simulator blends programmed geometry, sensor layouts, and data-driven models to calibrate against real-world data, enabling thousands of parallel tests and synthetic rare-failure data. Ring and Launchpad Build AI report that the platform matches physical test results, speeds time-to-market, and cuts reliance on expensive hardware testing.
