Apple added new allegations to its trade-secrets suit, presenting forensic evidence from a MacBook used by former senior system electrical engineer Chang Liu after he joined OpenAI. The laptop contained dozens of confidential Apple files, including a circuit schematic that Liu allegedly ran simulations on for OpenAI, and shows him directing a coworker to “restore” Apple-issued devices to erase forensic evidence.
