Apple announces the AirPods 5

Apple unveiled the AirPods 5, a refresh of the 2024 AirPods 4 lineup that introduced both ANC-enabled and non-ANC open-ear models. All variants retain the H2 chip, pinch-control interface and identical audio performance, with the ANC version delivering strong ambient-noise reduction. The launch was led by John Ternus, now Apple’s CEO.
