Apple cuts more than 200 jobs across Siri and Vision Pro

Apple is eliminating over 200 positions, about 100 from the Vision Pro division and 100 from Siri and related software groups, chiefly shutting down the headset’s gaming team and trimming its immersive-video unit. The cuts accompany a shift to a new Siri architecture and a strategic pivot toward lower-cost smart-glasses, while Apple assures that Vision Pro and visionOS remain active and a new headset model could appear by late 2028.
