Apple has a Mac mini ready, and it may be Tim Cook’s last product

Apple will release a refreshed Mac mini in the next few days, possibly featuring an M5 or M6 processor. It will be among the final products overseen by Tim Cook before John Ternus becomes CEO on September 1. The launch follows recent stock shortages caused by a DRAM price surge and precedes a September event announcing AirPods 5, iPhone 18 Pro, a foldable “iPhone Ultra,” and an October rollout of an OLED iPad mini, new iMac, and MacBook Pro.
