Apple has a new CEO, and Tim Cook signed off quoting Steve Jobs

John Ternus, a 51-year-old engineer who joined Apple in 2001 and has overseen hardware for iPads, AirPods, iPhones, Macs and Watches, became Apple’s chief executive, the first engineer in the role since Steve Jobs. Tim Cook’s farewell memo praised Apple’s culture, quoted Jobs, and emphasized his continued presence at the company while noting the company’s growth from under $350 billion to about $4.6 trillion and revenue rising from $157 billion to an expected $477 billion in fiscal 2025.
