Apple Introduces New Mac Studio with M5 Max and M5 Ultra

Apple introduced a Mac Studio featuring the M5 Max (18-core CPU, up to 40-core GPU, 128 GB unified memory) and the M5 Ultra (36-core CPU, up to 80-core GPU, 512 GB unified memory). It offers up to 4.3× faster AI, 1.8× faster graphics, and 1.3× faster CPU performance, includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, Thunderbolt 5 with clustering for three-fold AI inference gains, and 1.2 TB/s memory bandwidth for on-device large-language-model execution. Pre-orders are open; shipments begin September 22.
