Apple Pay finally arrives in India on a limited basis

Apple Pay launched in India, currently supporting only Axis Bank Visa and MasterCard credit cards and charging a 0.2% transaction fee. It does not accept cards from other banks or the RuPay network, and it works only on terminals enabled for the service. Major merchants such as Apple Store, Blinkit, Chaayos, Croma, Interflora, Ixigo, Le15 Patisserie, Reliance brands, Tata 1mg, and Zomato will accept Apple Pay at launch.
