Apple refreshes Mac mini and Mac Studio with new M6 and M5 Ultra chips

The Mac mini now ships with a 2-nm M6 chip featuring a 12-core CPU (2 super-efficiency, 4 performance, 6 efficiency), a 12-core GPU and dual 16-core Neural Engines, delivering up to four-times faster AI and twice-as-fast gaming than the M4, starting at $899. The Mac Studio adds M5 Max and M5 Ultra options; the M5 Ultra uses a quad-die layout with up to 36 CPU cores, 80 GPU cores and 4.5× AI compute, priced between $2,499 and $5,499.
