Apple Watch Series 12 will listen to your conversations

Apple released the Watch Series 12 featuring “Audio Intelligence,” an opt-in system that records key phrases, provides a 15-second Live Rewind transcript, and lets Siri summarize conversations while processing audio locally and deleting data immediately. The watch includes a redesigned sensor platform with larger electrodes and photodiodes, power-efficient LEDs that allow heart-rate checks every five seconds, and a new Readiness score out of ten. It supports a 12-hour fast-charge cycle, offers a ceramic case option, and delivers 24-hour battery life. Background Shazam and accessibility alerts for sounds such as sirens are also added.
