Apple Watch's new Audio Intelligence enables a real-life conversation rewind

Apple Watch Series 12, priced at $399 and released September 18, uses the S11 chip’s Audio Intelligence to continuously capture ambient sound for Sound Recognition, Live Rewind (15-second transcription via double-pressing the Digital Crown), Siri Recap summaries, and Shazam music ID. Raw audio is processed in a Secure Enclave, never stored or accessible to the OS, apps, users, or Apple, and each feature can be individually disabled.
