Apple Watch’s new feature listens to your chats and recaps them

Apple added Siri Recap to the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4, an ambient-listening notetaker that generates a title, summary and key points from conversations and saves them in the Siri app, with always-on, scheduled, or disabled modes. The watch also includes Shazam song identification, loud-sound alerts for sirens, alarms, doorbells or a crying baby, and a Live Rewind feature that replays the last 15 seconds of dialogue when the Digital Crown is double-pressed; raw audio is discarded, recordings are not stored, and recaps are end-to-end encrypted.
