Apple's long-rumored foldable becomes reality with the $2,000 iPhone Duo

Apple unveiled the iPhone Duo, a foldable smartphone priced at $1,999, making it the most capable and most expensive iPhone to date and placing it in the same price bracket as Google’s and Samsung’s foldables. The Duo features a wider, shorter chassis similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Apple criticized square-aspect-ratio foldables for distorting single-app layouts and creating large black bars in video playback.
