Apple's new desktop computers are designed specifically for local AI development

Apple unveiled updated Mac mini and Mac Studio models powered by two new silicon chips: the M6, built on a 2 nm process, and the M5 Ultra, which is positioned as the most powerful Apple-silicon processor for AI inference and development. Both desktops leverage Apple’s unified memory architecture and high-performance CPU/GPU cores to accelerate local AI workloads.
