Aspirity to buy majority stake in Danish IoT company Onomondo

London-based Aspirity Partners will acquire a majority stake in Copenhagen-based Onomondo, a €100 million investment that also includes Denmark’s state fund EIFO. Onomondo operates an IoT network with access to nearly 700 mobile networks, serving over 500 businesses in more than 100 countries, and offers products such as SoftSIM and a platform that unifies device, network, and cloud. The deal, pending regulatory approval, aims to fund international expansion, additional network equipment, and new product development.
